Bengals Fanbase
The Bengals spent the week signing rookies, filling out the 90-man roster, and running a drama-free minicamp. After last year's Shemar Stewart situation, "uneventful" is exactly what you want to hear. The full schedule drops Thursday. Then things get real.

You can check out the summary stats for the Bengals fan map above and see the map for yourself here.

MINICAMP
No Holdouts, No Drama

Every draft pick was on the field Friday. That sounds like a low bar until you remember that this time last year Shemar Stewart wasn't participating, a situation that set back his entire rookie season. Howell and Davis haven't signed contracts yet but signed waivers and practiced anyway.
Howell's answer when asked about negotiations: "I love football at the end of the day. Regardless of negotiations still being attacked, I love football." Davis: "Stealing reps, just control what I can control. That's why I have an agent." Good answers. The right answers.

BURROW
Back In The Building, Ready To Go

After the Derby, the Grand Prix, and the Met Gala, Burrow walked into Paycor on Thursday for Phase One workouts and the Bengals posted a video of him laughing with the caption "Football is fun."
In his Vanity Fair sit-down, Burrow was direct about where his head is: "I'm really excited about the moves we made this offseason. We're in our primes playing great football. This is fun. But soon, it's going to be our job to go out on the field and execute."

MURPHY & HILL
Both in Contract Years, Both Saying the Right Things

Murphy on the fifth-year option not being picked up: "Of course it wasn't there, but that's not for me to worry about. I'm here to play football." Tobin has been direct that they want a long-term deal. The option at $14.465 million fully guaranteed was too much to lock in after the Lawrence trade. This is the setup for an extension, not a sign of trouble. If Murphy has a big year alongside Lawrence, Mafe, and Allen, everyone gets paid.
Dax Hill drew his own line at minicamp: "Staying at one spot, I feel like that's ideal for development and my mental health." He played safety, slot, and outside corner in his first four years, and from Week 11 on last season he allowed just 15 catches on 31 targets at the boundary. He's earned the right to say something. Getting his position right in a contract season matters.

OFFSEASON MOVES STARTING TO GET ATTENTION

CBS Sports tabs the Bengals as a favorite Super Bowl long shot. NFL.com put them in the top five teams comparable to the reigning champion Seahawks. The framing is still "sleeper" - The underlying logic is correct: the offense was already good enough. The defense wasn't. If Lawrence, Mafe, Allen, and a healthy Shemar Stewart push the unit to league-average, Burrow takes it from there.
Also, Warren Sharp's projected win total metric has Cincinnati with the third-easiest schedule in the NFL in 2026, behind only Detroit and New Orleans. That's a real swing from 20th-hardest last year.
