This is a guy who has been to two AFC Championship Games and a Super Bowl, who watched three straight playoff misses, and who reportedly looked miserable at his own birthday press conference last December. Whatever the front office did this offseason, it worked. Burrow sounds like a man who believes.

The offensive line story is quietly as good as the defensive one. Amarius Mims, Orlando Brown Jr., Dylan Fairchild, Dalton Risner, and Ted Karras return intact for the second straight year — the first time that's happened since Burrow was drafted. ESPN and NFL Network both acknowledged this week the unit is no longer a problem. With another year of reps together and Burrow healthy, they could be legitimately great.

Elizabeth Blackburn was promoted to Vice President this week, joining a family org chart that now has her father Troy, uncle Paul Brown, and mother Katie all at the top level. She's been a driver of the organizational modernization you've seen lately, and the direction she's pushing things is the right one. Separately, Katie Blackburn confirmed the Bengals are exploring a bid to host the NFL Draft, likely targeting 2029. The Banks would be a natural fit.
