The Bengals are 13-4 when Burrow, Chase, and Higgins share the field, and all three are healthy heading into a 1 PM kickoff today against a 1-6 Titans team that just lost Jeffery Simmons to Chicago. The trade deadline is nine days out, and there's a decision coming.

THE GAME
We Scored 35 Unanswered Points on the Ravens in One Half

Down 13-0 at halftime, the 2026 Bengals did something only nine other teams in NFL history have done: got shut out in the first half and scored 35 or more in the second. Burrow came out of the half and went 16-of-18 for 249 yards and four touchdowns, a 158.3 passer rating. Tee Higgins had all six of his catches for 148 yards and a touchdown in the second half alone. The Ravens went punt, turnover on downs, punt, interception, turnover on downs.
The adjustment was simple and it worked. The Bengals ran under-center on 37% of first-half plays and produced 59 yards and zero points. In the second half, they scrapped it almost entirely, going under-center on just 13% of Burrow's snaps. Five possessions. Five touchdown drives. The two under-center plays that survived were a Perine touchdown at the 1-yard line and a Drew Sample score to close it out. That's the right use of it.
Ja'Marr Chase handled the locker room at the half. "I came in here screaming saying somebody got to make a play for us," he told reporters. "I told the offense we can't look at our defense the whole time," he added. "We have to step it up and make something work." Taylor said Monday he never had to go in there screaming: "He had full control of what he was doing and challenged everybody the right way."
THE OFFENSE
Burrow Is Storming the MVP Race

Burrow was named FedEx Air Player of the Week for Week 7, completing 22-of-30 for 292 yards and four touchdowns. His 16-of-18, four-touchdown second half was the only time any quarterback has thrown four scores in a single half this season. Zac Taylor called him "the most accurate passer in the world".
Chase and Higgins are making the historical conversation unavoidable. Wide receivers coach Troy Walters played with Carter, Moss, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Fitzgerald, and Boldin, and won't compare them directly: "They're still writing their stories." The numbers are starting to demand it anyway. In their first four seasons together, Chase and Higgins combined for 658 catches and 9,112 yards, more catches than Carter-Moss managed in their four-year run in Minnesota. Higgins has 33 catches for 571 yards this season. Chase has 32 catches for 351 yards and five touchdowns heading into today.
Chase wants more and he said so. His 1.90 yards per route run trails Higgins' 2.83. "I want a breakout game. I think it's overdue," he said in a sit-down with Bengals.com. He heads into Sunday with 59 career receiving touchdowns. He's off the injury report entirely. The Titans rank 26th in the league in EPA/pass defense, and Simmons is in Chicago.
THE TIGHT ENDS
The Tight End Room Is a Mess, and Gesicki Is Carrying It

Zac Taylor confirmed Erick All Jr. tore his ACL in the Ravens game, his third ACL tear overall. Tanner Hudson is also expected to miss the rest of the season with a torn pectoral muscle. Burrow addressed both Wednesday: "Those are two huge losses for us that you can't really replace with just two guys. It's going to have to be by committee." He added that rookie Jack Endries "seems to have a feel for the game" and "sees it and feels it like a quarterback does." The Bengals signed Cam Grandy off the Vikings' practice squad and added Caden Prieskorn to the practice squad.
TODAY'S GAME
Tennessee Has a Tony Pollard Problem

The Titans are 1-6, but Pollard had his best game of the season last week: 129 rushing yards, three touchdowns, 26 receiving yards against Cleveland. If they move the ball today, it'll be through him. The Bengals' second-year linebackers, Knight Jr. and Barrett Carter, have improved all season but still carry missed tackle rates of 10.7% and 13.8%, respectively.
The other matchup worth watching: Dexter Lawrence against center Austin Schlottmann, who grades at 45.7 on PFF. Lawrence has 22 pressures and four sacks in six games. Carnell Tate is out with a shoulder injury, Tyjae Spears is out with a knee, and Jeffery Simmons is in Chicago. The Bengals were already double-digit favorites before the Simmons trade broke.
THE TRADE DEADLINE
Nine Days Out, and the Names Are Flying

The Colts are officially open to trading Jonathan Taylor, per Schefter and Rapoport. The Bengals have been loosely linked but were not among the five teams named as engaged: Minnesota, Denver, Seattle, the Giants, and Green Bay. The Colts already turned down an offer that included a 2027 second and more. Tony Pollard, on an expiring contract and available from Tennessee, is a cheaper alternative being discussed in several corners. Chargers linebacker Daiyan Henley has also come up, with a possible price as low as a fifth. Tight end is live too, with Sam LaPorta's name circulating given the All injury. The deadline is November 10.
