Joe Burrow stood in front of a microphone this week and said out loud what this offseason has felt like from the inside: most talented roster he's been on, defense finally built to match the offense, and yeah — they're going to win a Super Bowl. It's May, so file the prediction accordingly. But the specificity behind it is real.

Bold Predictions
Burrow named names, called out positions, and made the case one by one. He credited the front office for delivering after years of criticism, and said unprompted that he was less involved in roster decisions this year than in years past.
The Super Bowl quote is going to get the clicks. What matters is the detail underneath it: he called Bryan Cook the best free-agent safety available, called Dexter Lawrence the best tackle in the league, and said four-deep at every D-line spot is a structural upgrade that changes the defense.

SCHEDULE
The Odds
Third-easiest schedule in the league. Three AFC North opponents breaking in new head coaches. Kansas City and Baltimore both coming to Paycor. The NFL confirmed they deliberately fixed our primetime situation after sending us to Baltimore four straight years — New Year's Eve against the Ravens at home, listed at -1.5, is the closing game on the slate.
DraftKings has us favored in 15 of 17 games. That tops the previous franchise record of 14, set in 2022, and puts us second in the league behind only the Rams. The two exceptions: at Houston in Week 2 (-2.5) and at Baltimore in Week 7 (-3.5). The one real wrinkle in the schedule is the Madrid trip in Week 9 against Atlanta with the bye coming three weeks earlier in Week 6. Worth monitoring once the season starts.
